Andre Burgess joined CBMLA in 2018 after a successful career as a US Air Force officer and aerospace financial manager. In July 2019 Andre was voted on to the CBMLA Board of Directors and as the Treasurer. Andre’s financial acumen will be used to effectively lead the financial management undertakings of CBMLA. After Andre’s retirement from The US Air Force and aerospace Industries, he commits his time to different volunteering activities and educating students as a substitute teacher.
Andre brings to the Treasurer position over 35 years of financial, material, and acquisition management experience in the defense, aerospace, and manufacturing industries. In his career Andre served in increasing roles of leadership and responsibilities.
Andre is a native New Yorker who has set the bar high in his career and has worked hard to reach individual and team goals. This same attitude and commitment is on full display as the CBMLA Treasurer.
