Biography

Education/Degree: BA in Business Administration from Lindenwood University, St. Charles, Missouri

Mark retired from the United States Postal Service (USPS) in January 2015, after working 36 years with this organization. His last assignment was District Manager, South Jersey District. The South Jersey District, located in New Jersey consisted of the southern part of New Jersey and the entire state of Delaware.

Before becoming a District Manager, Mark served as the 40th Postmaster of Los Angeles, California. He held this position for approximately 5 years. Before working in Los Angeles, Mark served as the 42nd Postmaster of St. Louis, Missouri. He held this position for 6 years. His career took him to Chicago, IL and Detroit MI. Mark started his career in 1978 as a letter carrier in San Diego, CA.

Mark has been a member of the Concerned Black Men of Los Angeles (CBMLA) since 2010. He started as the Senior Vice President. He was named President of CBMLA in 2015. In addition, Mark serves on the Board of Directors of Variety, the Children’s Charity of Southern California.

Mark is married and lives in Palmdale, CA. He has two daughters. His family is very active in their local church. In addition, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and listening to jazz music.
