Chris DeLoach was born and raised in Winnfield, Louisiana. In 1998, he obtained a B.A. in Education from Northwestern State University. From there, he taught in a non-public high school for at risk students. In 2002, Mr. DeLoach transferred to Leuzinger High School where he served as: Resource Specialist, Career Awareness Instructor, Home Studies Teacher, African American Student Body Advisor, and a Staff Mentor. Mr. DeLoach received his Master’s in Educational Leadership from California State University, Northridge. He continued his educational career at San Joaquin Valley College where he received a Mild/Moderate Special Education credential. Chris is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
In addition to his services as an educator and instructional coach, Chris DeLoach has recently channeled his passion towards providing professional development and consultation through his new enterprise entitled, Targeted Interventions Squared, LLC. Chris serves as a board member of Lancaster Youth Development Foundation. Chris DeLoach has a strong passion to help students, parents, and educators focus on solutions related to closing the achievement gap. Chris believes that, “All are teachers, but effectiveness lies in what is learned.” In his free time, Mr. DeLoach enjoys working out and living a healthy lifestyle.
